Delivery Information

At Ayansu, every order is handled with care—from our workshop to your doorstep. Our handcrafted and made-to-order approach means that some products take a little more time, but we promise they’re worth the wait.

Delivery Timelines

  • Ready-to-Ship Items For smaller items such as scatter pillows, ready lighting, and selected décor, delivery typically takes 7 to 15 days from the date of order.
  •  Made-to-Order Furniture & Larger Lighting For custom-built sofas, furniture, and larger lighting pieces, delivery usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. These pieces are carefully crafted to your specifications and require time to ensure quality and precision.

Most deliveries are scheduled Monday to Saturday. Once your order is ready for dispatch, you’ll receive an SMS notification. Our logistics partner may also call you to confirm a tentative delivery date and time. Please note that we do not have direct control over delivery schedules or whether a call will be made prior to delivery.

Delivery Access & Responsibilities

  • Our logistics team delivers to the building entrance or the nearest accessible point.
  •  For upper floors, especially where service lifts are unavailable or access is restricted, customers are requested to arrange their own assistance to carry larger items upstairs.
  •  Delivery personnel are not authorized to unpack or assemble furniture, nor are they required to deliver beyond the ground or first floor.

    We strongly recommend reviewing product dimensions on our website before placing your order to ensure items can pass through your entryways and fit your space. If delivery fails due to access issues or unavailability, additional charges may apply for re-attempts.

Packaging & Product Inspection

For added protection during transit, many of our larger products are packaged in wooden crates. While this may add bulk, it ensures your product arrives safely. Upon delivery:

  •  Please inspect the product before signing the delivery receipt.
  •  If you notice any visible damage or defect, note it clearly on the delivery challan or POD (Proof of Delivery).
  • Notify us immediately at contact@ayansu.com with photographs of the issue.

Do not open crates unless you have assistance from a local carpenter or professional. Delivery personnel are not permitted to unbox or inspect furniture on-site.

Address & Contact Accuracy

Please ensure that your address and contact number are accurate at checkout. If you plan to travel or won’t be available to receive the order, inform us in advance so we can coordinate the delivery accordingly.

We reserve the right to decline delivery to PO Boxes, communal addresses, or locations deemed insecure. You will be informed if this applies to your order.

On rare occasions, delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Holding Cost & Delayed Delivery Charges

If your order is ready but you request a delay in dispatch, the following applies:

  •  Grace Period: We offer a 2-week window of free storage.
  • After 2 Weeks: A holding charge of 5% of your total order value per month will apply.
  • GST at 18% will be added to the holding cost.
  • You’ll receive a detailed breakdown via email, and pro-rata billing will apply for shorter periods.
  •  Holding charges must be cleared before dispatch. This policy also applies to partial orders held upon request.
